Donna Karan for Thanksgiving?

Around this time of year, folks pull out their brown and white transferware or whatever seasonal tabletop they might have.  This year, inspired by Donna Karan's first ever tabletop collection with Lenox (who also partnered with Kate Spade for her fun collection), I'm channeling Donna.  Something black and layered and comfortable yet with some sizzle....

Here's a few pics from market of the new line.  With rust hued roses and some bittersweet, this might just be the new little black dress for the table.

Do you agree?

A tighter version of the placesetting.  The plates look like they've been individually thrown by a potter and have a wonderful "hand" about them.

Black dishes on a black top... with a few white options and white flowers.  It's so Donna, isn't it?

While this picture doesn't show it, the table had some va va voom to it.  The collection hits national retailers in Feb.
